Over the past decade, the state of Florida has consistently produced some of the hottest emcees from Gangsta rap, SoundCloud rap, and Drill. But lately, it seems as if rappers in the sunshine state have become just as prolific at partaking in high-profile arrests as they are at making hit music. Case in point, a 14-year-old gangsta rapper, named DTE Lil DayDay. Since 2021, the "Hate Iz Great" rapper has generated a buzz for himself amongst the hip-hop community in Florida, and he's also landed on the radar of local law enforcement. DTE Lil DayDay was recently released from a juvenile detention center after serving out a term for carrying a firearm, but not before posting a sharp message for the person who allegedly snitched on him and caused his most recent legal predicament with law enforcement.

Shortly after his release, the Orlando native hopped on Instagram and wrote:

"IM FREE! Appreciate everyone who been calling and checking in [100 emoji's] & 'sumbody call the vet my dawg turned out to be a [rat emoji]'n -Yak..ain't know we talk to da feds now you got da right to remain silent [laughing emoji]"

The caption is accompanied by a video where DTE Lil DayDay could be seen filling out some paperwork while a correctional officer stood over him. The second page of the post featured a photo of his arrest affidavit.
