This past Sunday, rapper Lil Uzi Vert took to Instagram and changed his pronouns on the social media platform to “They/Them” in his bio. The rapper hasn’t addressed the change officially beyond having it on his Instagram.
Lil Uzi Vert’s change on social media comes after International Non-Binary People’s Day, which was this past week—July 14. The rapper also dropped the song “Space Cadet,” which was posted to SoundCloud. Instagram has taken steps to allow people to identify themselves, updating the platform to include gender identity.
