DJ Vlad starts this clip off by briefing Michael Franzese on the state racketeering case against Young Thug and several of his YSL associates. DJ Vlad highlights his explanation by telling Franzese that some of the key points of the case include an alleged snitch within YSL and the fact that Young Thug rented a vehicle that was used in a murder, followed by the feds' usage of rap lyrics and social media posts to tie all of the evidence together. From there, DJ Vlad asks Franzese to explain what the difference is between a state R.I.C.O. charge and a federal R.I.C.O. After Franzese offers up a detailed answer, he states that the only reason why the feds have locked up Young Thug and his YSL associates without bail is that they're trying to "flip" some of them and they probably already have.
As the conversation moves along, DJ Vlad tells Franzese that one of the main reasons why the feds investigation intensified is because of a YSL associate named Big Bhris who shot a cop six times. Moving along, Franzese concludes that those who cooperate with law enforcement will walk away from this predicament as free men, eventually. Lastly, Franzese says that the moment that the accused and/or defendants, such as John Gotti, start to feel like they're above the law is the moment when are very likely to lose their freedom.
