During his recent sit-down with Gillie Da Kid and Wallo for their Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, Fivio Foreign revealed that he thought Drill Music would "die out" after Pop Smoke's tragic murder in 2020.

Fivio explained, "He was gone, he was there, he was putting on. We were all coming up, but he was clearing the way for n****s, like, ‘Yo come on, this way. He was embracing n****s and when he died, it was almost like, 'Damn, this sh*t just might die out altogether,' 'cause he was putting on."

Back in May, Fivio spoke about his BIBLE album, which he explained to The Independent is a way to pay tribute to his late friend. Fivio explained, "I definitely want to continue his legacy. That’s my brother, so I got to keep his name alive. I learnt a lot from him. I might not have asked questions but I’m always watching."
