Delonte West's recent interaction with a young boy is going viral, as he spoke about his time playing with LeBron James in Cleveland.
The child can be heard asking West if he is in NBA 2K, to which he confirmed, and he went on to speak about playing with LeBron during his time with the Cavaliers. Delonte then encouraged the boy to keep working hard in hopes of making it in the NBA.
A woman filming the encounter then asks Delonte, "So you didn't invest your money or nothing?" West then told the woman that he made sure his family was taken care of, as he even bought them houses, and he added that he never asked for anything in return.
This comes amid various reports of West being homeless and begging for money in Virginia. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban previously helped West with getting into a rehab facility in October 2020.
