According to reports, Future now holds the title for most platinum albums for a rapper in the 2010s, surpassing his friend and collaborator Drake.
Future now has eight total platinum selling albums and nine of his studio albums have at least gone gold. While Future's accomplishment isn't anything to sneeze at the important point to note is that this refers to rappers' catalog within the 2010s. If we're talking overall platinum records, both Future and Drake have a lot of work to do to catchi Jay-Z's 17 platinum/multi-platinum records.
