In a recent interview with DJ Vlad, Boosie shared his thoughts on the revelation that Terrance "Gangsta" Williams was at odds with his older brother, Birdman, for cooperating with the feds. The Baton Rouge native gave a scathing take in which he condemned Williams for violating the rules of the streets before famously stating that Williams no longer has street credibility in his eyes.
"Once you go that route, I dismiss you from my legend's book and x you out," Boosie said.
Less than 24 hours after the interview was published online by VladTV, Williams hopped on social media and recorded a video message of his own, in response to Boosie's criticism.
"I can hear it in your voice that you sound like a scorned fan," Terrance "Gangsta" Williams said. "Always remember this: You can hide history, but you cannot erase history. So, whether I'm in your book or not, it is what it is bro. Now, I also want to remind you that your book don't count to me. That's nothing to me, but at the end of the day, I go by the book of Allah--the Quran (a religious text of Islam for Muslims)...that's what I go by when it comes to the books. You said you had respect for me due to what you heard in the streets. But it sounds like a contradiction to me with you because you say on one hand you had respect for me, with all the stories you heard on the streets. That's why you had respect for me. However, you lost respect for me because of rumors of what you're hearing now. So which is it?"
As Terrance "Gangsta" Williams continued with his lengthy response to his fellow Louisiana native, his tone slowly went from calm and introspective to slightly annoyed when he began to address Boosie's blatant suggestion that he should remove the "Gangsta" from his name.
"Who are you to tell me what I can do? Bro, you from Baton Rouge, an hour away me. You not even much qualified to speak on me man, stay in your lane. Stay in the rap lane, matter of fact. You not even much a street dude..."
