Yesterday, it was revealed Mystikal was arrested and charged with first-degree rape. The rapper was booked into the Ascension Parish jail on Sunday, where he could be held until his trial. Now, bond for the rapper has been denied by a judge.
More information surfaced about his arrest, with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office saying police responded to a local hospital where they met with the alleged victim. The person claimed they sustained injuries from the alleged sexual assault. The spokesperson said, “The victim did meet him at his home and there was some discussion about finances potentially. And from there, that conversation went very far left and it’s what led to the situation where he assaulted that victim. And then, he did eventually force her to give him some money. So, we know that he did know her, and it did transpire at his home.” Stay tuned for updates.

According to reports, rapper Mystikal was arrested and charged with first-degree rape. The rapper was booked into the Ascension Parish jail for the alleged sex crime.
The 52-year-old, whose real name is Michael Tyler, was booked on various charges. The charges included simple criminal damages to property, false imprisonment, domestic abuse battery, simple robbery, and first-degree rape.
No bond has been posted for Mystikal following being arrested on Sunday. Previously, Mystikal was arrested in 2017 for an alleged assault. The charges were dropped against the rapper, and he was released from jail on a $3 million bond. Prior to that, the rapper was convicted of sexual battery in 2003 and served six years in prison.
