Part 1: Marvin Herbert on Rough Childhood in the UK, Hit By a Car, Hand Burned By His Dad

--------

In this clip, Marvin Herbert looks back on the conspiracy charges that he faced back in 2002. He explains that the reason why he was given a 5 1/2 year sentence is that the judge ruled that he was deemed guilty by association to the gun charges. Moving along, Herbert details that he decided to relocate his family to Spain from English upon hearing the news that a fellow member of his 'firm' approached his wife at their home with an illegal business proposition.

Herbert also recalls meeting various crime bosses from several cartels upon relocating to Spain. From there, he details a wild fight that broke out in a restaurant after being approached by a group of Chinese gang members who were playing cards with one another. Herbert states that upon asking the men if they would sell him an extra pack of cards for his daughter, they ignored him. This prompted Herbert to flip their table, and that's when the fists started flying all around, and the fight eventually poured out onto the streets. Lastly, Herbert talks about earning the respect of the crime bosses in Spain and attributing it largely to the fact that he operated a business on his own, whereas they had the benefit of working from within an organization.

Later, he goes into detail about the ordeal that landed him in police custody in Spain and later extradited back to the UK. Herbert explains some of the intricacies of the UK justice system and lays out what an IPP sentence is. He also recounts a hit being placed on his life and how that jumpstarted the events that led to his eventual extradition out of Spain.
