In this clip, Millyz spoke about doing rap battles, and he explained that he took rapping seriously when he first decided that it was the path that he wanted to take. Millyz explained that he was passing out CDs in the “worst” neighborhoods when he was around 17, and he went on to speak about his “White Boy Like Me” mixtape. When asked about leaning into being a white rapper, Millyz revealed that people listened to the album because of the cover. Millyz stated that the was trying to be authentic throughout his career, and he explained that he’s the only white rapper to move in the trenches and not get touched. He then responded to being asked about his top 5 white rappers, and Millyz included Eminem and Paul Wall. When it comes to MGK, Millyz stated that he’s a “garbage” rapper, which led to a discussion about Eminem “flaming” MGK in their beef. Mac Miller, Action Bronson, and Jack Harlow were also mentioned in the list, and Millyz pointed out that “the list is slim.”
Moving along, Millyz detailed working with Statik Selektah and being blown away by his work ethic. When asked about the origin of his name, Millyz explained that a star basketball player in his neighborhood just started calling him that. He also spoke about working with Jadakiss on “The Plug,” and Millyz revealed that Jadakiss was a fan of the song and wanted to do the remix.
