Over twenty members of Atlanta's "Drug Rich Gang" were arrested following a string of home invasions targeting a number of celebrities and social media influencers.
Those listed as victims of the home invasions include Mariah Carey, Atlanta Falcons star Calvin Ridley, and Marlo Hampton of Real Housewives Of Atlanta.
The Drug Rich Gang has since been indicted on RICO charges including several counts of murder, home invasion, kidnapping, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment.
"Where it is kinda fun to put your things on social media and show it off, unfortunately theses gangs have become more sophisticated, more savvy in how they target victims,” said Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. “But as they’ve gotten more savvy, so have we.”
