Russell Wilson and the Denver Broncos reportedly reached a contract extension agreement for five years and up to $245 million with $165 million guaranteed.

Wilson made history with the deal, which comes in third as the biggest contract in NFL history when it comes to guaranteed money. Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson tops Wilson with his $230 million contract, followed by Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray's $189.5 million. Wilson's new contract will average him $49 million a year, and it will keep him with the Broncos through the 2028 season.

This comes after Wilson told reporters at training camp, "I'm excited to be here. I know I want to be here for a long, long time, hopefully the rest of my career. It's been a blessing with these guys.'' Wilson also added that his "sole focus" is "winning a Super Bowl for the Broncos and more.''
