In this clip, R&B veteran Donell Jones revisits his previous struggles with alcoholism during a time when his career was at somewhat of a standstill. The Chicago native explains that he would intentionally drink to get drunk because his life was spiraling out of control, his relationship with his wife was dwindling, and so was his working relationship with Jive Records. From there, Donell Jones shares a story from a time in his life when he hit "rock bottom" before stating that he checked into rehab in order to get his life together. He also reveals that he relapsed a few times since then. Moving along, Donell explains how he is able to have a drink today without going over the edge and relapsing once again.
From there, he reflects back on meeting his current wife at a nightclub, the chemistry that they shared from day one, and the reason why they haven't left each other's side since then. Moving along, the R&B veteran from Chicago explains why she is his soulmate and the reason for putting her in his music video "Love Like This" back in 2010.
