Recently, DJ Khaled dropped his album ‘GOD DID,’ which featured appearances from Lil Wayne, 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Gunna, Kanye West, and an appearance from Jay-Z that found the rapper speaking about rumors of the friendship between him and Meek Mill following the Philadelphia rapper’s split from Roc Nation. Drake also appeared on the album, which Khaled spoke about candidly while on the ‘Rap Radar’ podcast.
While speaking about the rapper, DJ Khaled noted he doesn’t criticize Drake whenever he sends him a verse. He usually just holds his thoughts and uses whatever the Canadian star sends. “I'm gonna speak what people are scared to say. In the music game, I'm gonna tell you the truth and I'm surprised nobody is saying it. I'll say it. When you work with Drake and he sends you something, it's unbelievable, it's facts don't fight it,” said Khaled.
The producer and DJ continued, "The other day I was mixing, 'yo how do you like the mix,' you know what I'm saying? Even if I wanted to turn the hi-hat up. Even if I thought it needed ... I like what Drake like. Even if this one part sounds like a could change ... 'Drake, you like that? I love it.' Now if I was a rapper, any singer, you get an opportunity to work with Drake, it's a blessing.” Take a look above.
