Previously, rapper 22Gz made a claim about Sheff G, saying the rapper was being extorted while in prison. However, Sheff G took to Instagram to set the record straight, saying nothing of the sort is happening while he’s been locked up. Now, Sheff G has spoken for the first time in an interview since being locked up.

The rapper spoke to Funk Flex on Hot 97 and was seemingly in good spirits while speaking to the DJ. Funk Flex then talked to the rapper about his album that dropped last month while locked up. Sheff G then candidly spoke about the drill movement in New York, saying it was “spectacular” and “sturdy.” He then said if he was home, there would be a different energy in the music.

The rapper then revealed he had an exclusive to drop soon, which is supposed to be the day he gets out of jail. Watch above.
