In this clip, Dr. Myron Rolle spoke about some of the discriminatory experiences he had while growing up in New Jersey, particularly with storeowners being suspicious of him while welcoming his white friends as patrons. He also detailed when he knew that football was going to be his ticket toward success despite already being a stellar student, musician, and community member. Dr. Rolle knew he was a top-level football player after balling out at a camp in Oklahoma that featured top recruits from across the nation. After this camp, Dr. Rolle would go on to become the No. 1 high school prospect in the country.
