Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry is set to ink a lifetime deal with Under Armour worth more than $1 billion.

Rolling Stone first reported the news as Curry's current deal with the sports apparel company is scheduled to expire at the end of 2024. The deal would include Curry receiving his own subsidiary brand similar to Nike’s groundbreaking deal with Michael Jordan.

Curry was originally sponsored by Nike when entering the league but moved on to Under Armour in 2013 after signing a deal that paid him $4 million annually. Steph's 2015 extension with UA saw that annual purse balloon to $20 million a year. In 2018, it was reported that Curry threatened to leave the brand over creative differences, however, a resolution was reached which has led to the imminence of this new lifetime deal.
