NBA Hall of Famers Shaquille O'Neal and Dennis Rodman had multiple heated moments on the court as opponents, but Shaq recently revealed on his podcast that their time as teammates didn't work out so well either.
The two NBA greats only played with each for one year, on the Los Angeles Lakers, but that was enough Shaq to call Rodman his worst teammate ever. Despite Rodman's production on the court, Shaq said Rodman's enabled behavior made it difficult for the team to come together before they would go on to win three straight NBA titles after parting ways with the eccentric power forward.
"Worst teammate? Dennis Rodman," Shaq said on his podcast. "He was a great player, but he made it hard. Like when you try to corral the guys together and the people above you letting this one guy do whatever he wants...and rightfully so. So we had to be there an hour before the game. He'd come in 15 minutes before the game eating chicken and rice. While the coaches are talking, he would jump in the shower. Cold shower. Come and give you 15-20 rebounds."
Shaq continued by talking about Rodman's partying ways and described his experience at one of Rodman's parties. Shaq added that despite his popularity as one of the league's elite centers, Rodman's celebrity still overshadowed his.
