To much fanfare, Snoop Dogg made an iconic cameo in the 2001 movie ‘Training Day’ with Denzel Washington. However, Spice-1 spoke on Snoop’s appearance in the film and noted not everyone was a fan of him, specifically mentioning members of the Bloods who showed up on the movie set to confront the Crip.

While speaking to Art of Dialogue, Spice-1 said he got a call from an OG Crip in Los Angeles, saying, “In so many words, he was like, ‘Go over there and try to calm them n***as down. They’ll listen to you.’ And I’m thinking in the back of my head like, ‘Man, them n***as ain’t gonna listen to me. These n***as don’t know me.’ But since the OG n***a said go over there and holla at them.”

The rapper gave more details on the situation, saying, “I was like, ‘Man, they saying y’all were throwing bottles at Snoop’s trailer and s**t. The mothaf**kas about to call the police. We need to get the f**k outta here ’cause they might be coming.’ And they was like, ‘OK, cool. Let’s bounce the f**k up outta here.’ N***as ain’t trying to see the [police] anyway.” Spice-1 said he and the Bloods went around the corner and smoked weed while waiting for the cops to come. From there, he walked back to Snoop’s trailer after the men left and spoke to Snoop, saying, “[I] went to Snoop’s trailer and started chopping it up with him for a minute, smoking some weed or whatever. I don’t think he knew what I was there for.” Watch above.
