In this clip, Aries Spears discussed the trope of black men in dresses and why he’s fine with it comedically. He said many people point out how emasculating the dress-wearing is for black men but noted that there are plenty of strong images of black men on film. Aries said as a comedic bit, wearing a dress isn't demeaning and recounted his skit on Mad TV where he donned a dress to play DMX's mother.
