ESPN’s Malika Andrews and Stephen A. Smith exchanged words while speaking about the Boston Celtics’ Ime Udoka while on ‘First Take.’
Both ESPN analysts were discussing the suspension of Udoka, along with the controversy tied to the matter. While joining ‘First Take,’ Andrews went on to call out Smith, saying, “Stephen A, with all due respect, this is not about pointing the finger. Stop.. we do not have all of the information here.” She continued, "What became apparent to me in this press conference is we do not have all of the information here.”
Stephen A. Smith wasted no time firing back, saying, “I listened to you. You are the one telling me to stop on my show, it ain’t happenin’.” From there, Smith said, “I don’t appreciate where you are going with that. I’m not blaming anybody but Ime Udoka. He deserves to be fired if they were going to fire him. If you are not going to fire him, then don’t fire him. My issue is all of this being publicized.” Watch their exchange above.
