Previously, Charlamagne spoke on who the most influential rappers of all time were, pointing out Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, and 2Pac. When Chief Keef was mentioned, Charlamagne said he doesn’t think Keef influenced the world with his sound, only a region. From there, DJ Akademiks spoke on his live stream, saying he played a part in popularizing the rapper’s sound and drill music. Now, Keef has responded.
The interviewer claimed Akademiks said he was responsible for the “Grim Reaper” moniker, to which Keef responded, “For real?” Akademiks has since noted the interviewer did not know what she was talking about, saying he was lying.
From there, the rapper was asked what he thought of the opinion from Charlamagne and said, “Charlamagne got his opinion, I don’t give no f**k.” When asked if he gets the just due for being the “father of Drill,” Keef said, “We all know this.” Take a look above.
