In-store surveillance footage captured the robbery of a Delaware jewelry store and the accompanying assault visited upon the 68-year-old shop owner.

The storeowner was brutally beaten with a hammer and pistol-whipped during the 20-minute ordeal. The robber is also seen repeatedly stomping on the elderly man. Steve Suh, the storeowner's son, said the footage released is only but a small portion of the traumatic incident and surprisingly the least brutal elements of the 20-minute attack.

Police later identified and apprehended 39-year-old Calvin Ushery. Per New York Post:

Ushery was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person as well as first-degree robbery and criminal mischief, police noted. None of the initial charges appeared to be related to the caught-on-camera assault. He remained in custody on $130,500 cash-only bail, records show.
