DJ Vlad and Soulja Boy went back and forth on social media Tuesday after Soulja Boy called out VladTV and other media platforms over their coverage of him. The rapper directed multiple insults at the media personality before taking credit for VladTV's success, prompting a response from Vlad.
The social media feud occurred on the same day that VladTV released an interview clip of iconic producer Teddy Riley requesting an apology from Soulja Boy to his daughter, Nia Riley. Soulja Boy and Nia Riley previously dated for multiple years and had their relationship documented on the reality TV shows Love & Hip Hop and Marriage Boot Camp. However, Nia claimed Soulja Boy was abusive during their relationship and allegedly held a gun to her head in one instance.
Once the Teddy Riley clip started circulating, Soulja Boy continued to air out his grievances with Vlad. During an Instagram Live session, the rapper accused Vlad of being the police and the cause of Ar-Ab's incarceration, as well as Boosie's encounters with cops. He also claimed Teddy Riley was being dragged into the disagreement.
"You can drop all the interviews you want, speaking on my name," Soulja Boy said. "Stop bringing Teddy Riley into this, DJ Vlad...He ain’t got s*** to do with this."
