According to Snoop Dogg, the legendary rapper and Dr. Dre have a new album together. Snoop Dogg recently made an appearance on Stephen A. Smith’s ‘Know Mercy’ podcast and talked about the relationship between him and Dre.
Snoop went on to say he and Dre started working on a full-length project over the summer. The rapper said, “You’re the first one to hear this: Me and Dr. Dre have been working on an album for the past two months, and it’ll be done in November.”
From there, Snoop gave a timeline of their collaborative project, saying, “And it’s produced by Dr. Dre. It’s our 30th anniversary [of] ‘Doggystyle.’ And the name of the album is ‘Missionary.’” Stephen A. Smith posed the question: “Why that name?” Snoop responded by saying “The first album was ‘Doggystyle.’” News of this comes only a month after Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and others were given a Creative Arts Emmy for their NFL Super Bowl Halftime performance earlier this year.
