In this clip, Nick Young spoke about going to the 76ers, which he said was “good money, but a bad move.” He explained that he was hanging out with Kwame Brown, who had beef with then-coach Doug Collins. Nick explained that because of his friendship with Brown, Collins believed Nick also had beef with him. Nick then revealed that Collins told him he didn’t play him because of the situation. Nick added that leaving the 76ers worked out because he went to the Lakers, which was a huge deal as someone from the city. Nick also spoke about playing with Kobe and becoming his friend was “a dream come true.”
