In this clip, actor Isaiah Washington reflects back on his time in the military during a stint in the Philippines. He then says upon returning to the states, he gained a passion for acting. He also went through a mid-life crisis before becoming homeless. From there, he talks about partaking in a local play as a gay character. The role helped him garner attention as a performer. He later reveals how influenced he was by watching a screening of "She Gotta Have It" by Spike Lee before touched on the full circle moment when he was cast in "Get On The Bus" by Spike Lee many years later.
