In this clip, GMK spoke to Shirley Ju about when he started getting into music, and he explained that he loved music as a kid, including Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne, and Boosie. He added that his older siblings would play music around him, and GMK explained that Gucci Mane changed the game with the number of mixtapes that he dropped. From there, GMK spoke about going to jail for the first time at 14 on charges of strong-arm robbery, and he explained that once you're in the streets, you know that you’ll eventually get arrested. When speaking about the situation, GMK explained that it was over someone getting their phone stolen, and he added that he and his friends were only locked up for a week. From there, GMK spoke about converting to Islam when he was 15, and he explained that he came from a culturally diverse family. GMK also detailed what led to him converting, and he revealed that his family was supportive of his decision.
