Benny The Butcher recently sat down for the ‘New Rory & Mal’ show and spoke about the issues between him and Freddie Gibbs, despite not wanting to speak on the situation. The Griselda rapper started by saying he had no idea how things escalated to where they currently are. From there, Benny said, “I think that n***a just try to use my energy in some type of way. I feel like if he couldn’t use it by doing songs with me, he was looking for a situation.”
From there, Benny said Gibbs has to “keep my name out his mouth” before addressing where the issues with Gibbs stem from. “You don’t talk about nobody getting shot, especially like I said, I hate to talk about this s**t cause I don’t wanna go viral, but you don’t talk about that, especially if you wasn’t in that room, every street n***a know that man,” said Benny. The shooting Benny references found the rapper being shot in the leg at a Walmart in Houston, Texas. Before that, Benny says the last time he saw Gibbs was at his Grammys event, and the rapper approached him and said, “‘n***a who we gotta kill?” Watch above.
