Last month, it was reported that Shoreline Mafia member OhGeesy was arrested in Burbank, California, after police pulled him over, saying the tags on his car were expired. Also, police claimed the tints on the rapper’s car were excessive. Because of the stop, police say they discovered codeine on the rapper and a loaded handgun that no one in the vehicle claimed. OhGeesy was charged with possession of a loaded gun and drug possession.
Since then, it was revealed the DA’s office wouldn’t be moving forward with charges against the rapper, citing a lack of evidence. They also passed on moving forward with charges for the bottle of codeine found in OhGeesy’s pocket.
Despite the win for OhGeesy, Prosecutors are looking to pursue charges against the other people in the car with the rapper. While speaking to TMZ, OhGeesy’s lawyer Michael A. Goldstein said, “As stated previously, we were looking forward to OhGeesy’s day in court. I have an innocent client, and the Prosecutor made the right call dismissing the case.”

According to reports, rapper OhGeesy was arrested this past weekend in Burbank, CA, after police pulled over his car, citing expired tags and excessively tinted windows.
Authorities say they discovered a bottle of codeine on OhGeesy's person as he sat in the backseat. The driver was also unlicensed which prompted a search of the vehicle. During the search, cops found a loaded gun and charged everyone in the car with possession since no one came forward to claim it.
OhGeesy's attorney issued the following statement in wake of the recent events:
"Although it has been reported that a single firearm was recovered from a bag in the front passenger area, the officers arrested all 5 occupants. We look forward to our day in court…assuming this makes it to the front steps of the building."
