In this clip, Iman Shumpert addressed Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant remaining with the Brooklyn Nets this season, which led to him speaking about his own time with the team. Iman revealed that he wouldn’t be surprised if Kyrie or KD stayed or left, and he stated, “It’s the new league.” He explained that current players are learning from the mistakes of players before them that have spoken out about their experiences. Iman explained that a lot of players are switching teams today, and he stated that although they “might lose and look goofy,” he supports the move.
