According to reports, former NBA player Ben Gordon found himself back in police custody hours after making bail for allegedly punching his child in the face with a closed fist at LaGuardia Airport.

Elizabeth Keogh of New York Daily News is reporting that Gordon was arrested in Manhattan hours after being released from jail and was taken to Harlem’s 32nd Precinct in connection to a 2020 robbery.

Per Keogh:

"Gordon got into an argument with a 22-year-old friend in a home on W. 131st St. near Fredrick Douglass Blvd. in Harlem March 12, 2020, cops said. The 6-foot-3 basketball star allegedly grabbed the woman’s phone and smashed it on the ground. The woman claimed Gordon elbowed her in the eye, causing her pain and bruising."

The former UConn standout has since been formally charged with robbery for the 2020 incident.
