According to reports, LeBron James is set to be the highest-paid NBA player for the 9th consecutive season with an estimated salary of $124.5 million.

LeBron will make $44 million from on-court earnings in addition to another $80 million in his off-the-court ventures. Forbes reported that the estimates are on the low end considering that some figures from James's investments won't show up in the estimated total. For example, "SpringHill Entertainment company was valued at $725 million last year. He has several other big investments, including with a Major League Pickleball team, sports nutrition company Ladder, Canyon Bicycles and more. James is also a minority owner in the Boston Red Sox and Liverpool FC."

This shouldn't come as a surprise considering that earlier this summer LeBron became the first active pro-athlete to cross the billionaire threshold and only the second NBA player behind none other than Michael Jordan.

Rounding out the top five are Steph Curry at $95.1 million, Kevin Durant with $88 million, Giannis Antetokounmpo at $86.5 million, and Russell Westbrook with $82.1 million.
