Previously, it was revealed that Gunna was denied bond for a third time, with the judge arguing concerns over witness intimidation. The denial happened after a co-defendant said they would “whack” someone on behalf of the rapper, with Gunna’s legal team arguing there’s “no evidence” to support the prosecutors' claims. Now, Kim Kardashian has spoken on Gunna’s situation, bringing light to his circumstances while calling for his release.
Via Instagram, Kardashian said, “Imagine sitting in a jail cell for 155 days with no bond when the only evidence against you is a ticket for an unrelated window tint and someone saying you weren’t in a gang.” The social media personality and activist then broke down the facts of the case in another portion of her Instagram story. One of the points focused on witness intimidation, with Kardashian noting not one person has said Gunna threatened them or had anyone else threatened.
Kim K then pointed out that there’s no evidence connecting Gunna to a single crime and that although his trial is in January, it may be continued. This means Gunna may be in jail even longer. Take a look at Kim Kardashian’s complete statement above.
