Lil Baby recently released his new album ‘There’s Only Me.’ On the project, Lil Baby made it a point to call out DJ Akademiks at various points.
On the track “From Now On,” Baby sent a shot at the social media personality, saying, “Akademiks know he ain’t as rich as me!!!” The song “Top Priority” found Baby saying, “Akademiks N****s’ think they can't get touched/Ion be on computers much, CED turnt me on to YouTube.” Now, Akademiks has responded to the mentions.
At one point, Akademiks could be heard saying, “I heard le Bebe shouted me out twice on da album? What he say y’all [let me know].” While addressing Lil Baby, Akademiks went to Genius and pointed out different lyrics on Baby’s project directed at him. Akademiks then spoke on a moment where Baby hit him up on via Twitter after blocking him on other platforms. Along with that, Akademiks questioned why Lil Baby directed his attention toward him and not the Fulton County DA Fani Willis. Watch above.
