Previously, footage surfaced of ASAP Bari and his vehicle after he was involved in a severe car crash. Since then, Bari has been hit with a lawsuit for the ordeal.
Legal documents found a man named Jorge Baez suing Jabari “ASAP Bari” Shelton after claiming the latter drove his Mercedes-Benz “carelessly, recklessly, and negligently” when the car smacked into his.
The footage above shows how damaged Bari’s vehicle was following the crash, and now the lawyer for Baez has spoken about what happened to his client. Lawyer Jared Newman says the accident left the man with massive medical bills and serious injuries. As a result, he is suing Bari for over $30,000 in damages.
Since the crash, Bari revealed he got another vehicle—a Mercedes Maybach SUV purchased by Kanye West. Newman spoke on the gesture, saying, “It was nice of Kanye West to buy A$AP Bari a new Maybach and enable him to move on like nothing happened, but something did happen and A$AP Bari must pay for his negligence.” Stay tuned for more updates.
