Former NBA player-turned-podcaster Stephen Jackson had a well-documented friendship with George Floyd before his passing, as they referred to each other as “twin.” Since then, Kanye West made comments about the death of Floyd, saying it wasn’t caused by a knee to the neck from a police officer and that fentanyl was the culprit instead.
Stephen Jackson took to Instagram to address the comments by West while calling him out simultaneously. Jackson captioned his post, “It’s all noted. To say u a Legend in music @kanyewest it’s sad that u still gotta talk about other people lives to be relevant is wack. It’s really sad u doing all this over some 'P***y.' Tender d**k a** n***a.”
Jackson then said people allowing West to get on their platform and speaking recklessly about George Floyd are opportunists and are wrong. He then said, “all that s**t is weak. All y’all clout chasing,” before saying it was sad.
