Previously, Draymond Green spoke on the possibility of leaving the Golden State Warriors following the altercation with Jordan Poole, where he punched the young NBA player in the face. Green said, “My general view of my future here is I’m here this year trying to win a championship. I have a contract that ranges through next year if I so choose to pick up that option.” Poole has kept quiet since the viral incident that found footage from the Warriors’ practice facility leaking. Now, Poole has addressed the situation with Green via a press conference.

Poole said, “He apologized,” before calling Green a “professional.” He continued, “We're here to play basketball, and everybody in the locker room and on the team knows what it takes to win a championship, and we're gonna do that on the court.” Poole then said, “We’re here to win a championship and keep hanging banners,” in reference to how he and Green will conduct themselves moving forward.
