Akon came through for yet another VladTV interview, and Vlad and Akon spoke about their friendship, which has spanned nearly 20 years. He then responded to being asked about plans for “Akon City” in Senegal, and Akon explained that Covid didn’t cause too many setbacks, with the first phase being completed in 2026. Akon explained that “Akon Tower” and hotel will be completed, along with other facilities to encourage tourism. Akon then revealed that the land is now worth $85 million, but he added that he paid a lot less when he bought it. From there, Akon explained that he was building the “biggest hospital in Africa,” and he added that he thought against putting up statues.
