Hornets baller James Bouknight was arrested around 2 am on Sunday (October 16)  morning in Mecklenburg County, NC for driving while intoxicated.

According to reports, Bouknight was blocking the entrance to a parking garage while he was passed out in the driver's seat of his vehicle. Security guards attempted to wake up Bouknight by pounding on his window, but he reportedly didn't budge. New photos obtained by TMZ appear to show Bouknight passed out with a bag of Doritos and a Glock handgun in his lap.

The guards then called the police, who arrived and were able to wake up Bouknight, who was then arrested. Bouknight was charged with driving while intoxicated, but he wasn't charged for the gun, as North Carolina doesn't require permits to carry a gun openly. He was later released on $2,500 bond.
