In this clip, Akon addressed his “Lighting Africa” project, which he says is still growing. Akon added that the project has moved to the U.S., and he spoke about partnering with the Biden administration for his “Akon Lighting” company and the clean energy program. Akon then revealed that he has bought out a lot of small solar companies because that’s what his company specializes in, and Vlad shared his experience with solar power. This led to Akon speaking about how solar doesn’t make sense for every customer, and he added that you have to find de-regulated areas to make money with solar power.
