In this clip, Jason Lee reflected on his high school days and why he opted to pursue his GED instead of attempting to graduate. He recounted selling drugs soon after but admitted to being the worst drug dealer in history. He was so bad that his drug-dealing brother, who was his plug, told him he wasn’t cut out for it after one night and enrolled him in college the next day.
Jason then recounted his first experience with a guy around the time he was 18. He said the guy was a friend of his, and they developed a tight bond that would eventually turn into an emotional and sexual attraction. Jason said they had to keep their relationship under wraps at the time because of the uninviting social climate toward homosexuality at the time. Not to mention, they both had girlfriends at the same time they were engaged in their own sexual relationship.
Later, Jason Lee spoke about having a going away party in 1997, where various family members were present. He explained that he was 19 and inspired to create a better life for himself after meeting Queen Latifah. From there, Jason detailed his relationship with his brother Rodney, who was there for him when other people in his life weren’t. Jason then detailed how an incident happened with his female neighbor, which led to a melee and someone telling him that Rodney was hit.
