Part 2: Chris Childs on Almost Fighting Michael Jordan, Calling Him a B**** to His Face

In this clip, former New York Knicks Guard Chris Childs reflects back on his upbringing before talking about his college basketball career at Boise State. From there, he talks about the disappointment he experienced when he was not selected in the NBA draft, the positive role that John Lucas played in his career path, and the obstacles that he had to overcome playing for multiple teams in the CBA.

Later in the discussion, Chis talks about leading the Quad City Thunder to a championship in the CBA (Continental Basketball Association) before being given an opportunity by Willis Reed to try out for the New Jersey Nets. The former NBA Guard shares his gritty approach to competing against his former teammates, such as David Wesley and Rex Walters. Moving along, Chris looks back on the loaded squad that he was a part of in New Jersey with guys like Kenny Anderson, Derrick Coleman, and Kendall Gill. Lastly, he talks about earning the starting point guard position and being courted as a free agent two years after joining the Nets.
