For weeks, Jake Paul promoted his fight against MMA legend Anderson Silva, who once held the UFC middleweight title for over six years. Last night, the two faced off against one another, and Paul surprisingly ended up coming out victorious in their battle.

The fight went down at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona, and found Paul dropping 47-year-old Silva to the ground in the final round. Paul ended up getting a unanimous decision after dropping Silva. The scores found Paul getting 78-73 and 77-74 at one point.

Silva spoke about the fight afterward, saying, “It’s tough to come in here and fight with these young kids. I tried to do my best, and I trained hard every day. Jake was better than me today. I don’t have nothing bad to say about my opponent. I think everybody needs to respect this kid because he’s doing the best job.”
