In this clip, Akon discussed what separated Michael Jackson from other artists before cosigning Rodney Jerkins' story about the effort The King of Pop put into recording his music. He also continued to express his shock at Sony releasing a posthumous Michael Jackson album with fake vocals, adding that Michael Jackson's estate is usually aggressive in making sure the late entertainer's legacy is properly preserved. Akon revealed he developed a relationship with the pop icon due to the two having the same attorney. However, Akon noted that when the two were originally connected, he hung up on Michael Jackson multiple times because he didn't believe it was actually him.
