The son of Al B. Sure, Albert Joseph Brown IV, also known as Al B. Sure Jr., revealed that his famous father was in a coma for 2 months after being hospitalized for illness. 

Al B. Sure Jr. made the announcement while thanking his followers for wishing him a happy birthday. He wrote, "Thank your every 1 for the bday wishes!! πŸ™πŸΎπŸ™πŸΎ been kinda out of it and in my own world!! @officialalbsure POPS BEEN hospitalized FOR 2 months and he just made it out!!" 

He added, "Thank u for all the concerns and worries about my family! Today is my day but this is for my pops! All I want for him is to get out that f***in hospital!! We need u big homie!!πŸ™πŸΎ" 

Al B. Sure paid tribute to his son on his birthday in a post, where he wrote, "#HappyBornDay son. To my oldest King! [crown] Always consider it the ultimate blessing to experience another “Period of Revolution!” Another trip around the [sun]! When I recently opened my eyes during my hospitalization you sent such positive shockwaves throughout my temple when I heard the new music you produced that you sent to my nurses to play for me called The One 4 Me." 

Al B. Sure! has been battling health issues in recent years, as he revealed in 2020 that he was diagnosed with a gallbladder issue, a blockage, and toxic internal problems. It's unclear what specifically landed him in the hospital recently.
