In terms of the hip-hop community, Diddy has to be the clear-cut winner for the best Halloween costume of 2022. But what about second and third place? Lizzo deserves an honorable mention for dressing up as Blueface's girlfriend, Chrisean Rock, but Lil Nas X and 24kGoldn probably should round out the top three because of the commitment that they displayed while donning their "Ice Spice" costumes on Halloween weekend.
Amid the firestorm of hilarious video clips that Diddy provided the internet with while dressed up as the Joker, Lil Nas X and 24kGoldn also made headway on various social media platforms for their portrayal of Ice Spice from her popular "Munch (Feelin U)" music video. Mainstream rappers in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s probably would not have done such a thing, so these cross-dressing costumes are an indicator of how much things have changed in hip-hop.
