--------

In this clip, Iman Shumpert spoke about new projects, including his new podcast, “Iman Amongst Men,” and he went on to speak about getting new chains to promote his new album. From there, Iman spoke about doing a lot of different projects right now, but he clarified, “I don’t do no goofball sh*t.” When Vlad pointed out all of the things that Iman has been doing since leaving the NBA, he encouraged other athletes to do auditions and put themselves out there. Vlad also brought up Iman winning “Dancing with the Stars,” and he pointed out that he’s competitive in anything that he does. Moving along, Vlad stated that music is a lot different than being on a hit show on Showtime, and Iman disagreed because getting people to believe he’s a character is harder. Iman explained that the music industry is hard for a normal kid, and he added that for him, he could put out a “gimmicky” album and make money. Vlad then explained that the hottest artist in the world could make a “flop,” and he shared Lil Yachty’s story about blowing up through a viral video to make his point that music is fickle. Iman then stated that he thinks lyrical rap music is going to make a comeback, which is when he thinks he’ll blow up.
