Drake and 21 Savage have been doing an exciting rollout for the release of their ‘Her Loss’ album, as the duo has been using fake versions of promotional platforms to hype up their project. One instance found them doing a mock ‘Saturday Night Live’ performance, while another saw the pair dropping a fake issue of Vogue Magazine with them on the cover. Now, it appears Condé Nast is going after Drake and 21 for the move.
Court documents that surfaced noted that the rappers have been promoting the new album with magazines that look like Vogue, leading fans to believe they would appear on the cover of a special edition soon.
They reportedly put up posters of the “cover” in major cities, and Condé Nast claims teams for both rappers sent out an email blast “celebrating Drake’s Vogue cover.” Because of the gesture, Condé Nast is suing for $4 million in damages and wants a judge to stop the usage of the Vogue logo immediately.
