On the heels of a thrilling knock-down, drag-out professional wrestling match with Roman Reigns, the WWE Universe has been showering Logan Paul with praise and respect. Roman Reigns is in the midst of the longest title run in WWE history. He's also in the prime of his career and a member of the same AnoaŹ»i family that has produced iconic brawlers such as Peter Maivia, Yokozuna, The Rock, and The Usos. The 37-year-old recently headlined the WWE's pay-per-view (Crown Jewel) against Logan Paul, and his title defense is being heralded as one of the most entertaining championship matches in recent years. The dramatic in-ring performance between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul included sporadic interjections from The Usos and Jake Paul. But the highlight of the bout was when Logan Paul channeled his inner "Rob Van Damn" by leaping off the turnbuckle, flying outside of the ring, and hitting Roman Reigns with a "frog splash" while his body lay motionless on an announcer's table. Ultimately, Roman Reigns won the match after landing his trademark "Superman Punch," followed by a "Spear." The highly entertaining match occurred just one week after Logan's younger brother, Jake, defeated MMA legend Anderson Silva in a celebrity boxing match.

Although Logan Paul was defeated by Roman Reigns, he gained the respect of WWE wrestlers past and present. He dazzled the WWE audience with high-flying moves and a legitimate fighting technique in just his third match as a professional wrestler. Unfortunately, his moral victory came at a steep price. It's being reported that the 27-year-old tore his ACL, MCL, and meniscus during his battle with the undisputed heavyweight champion of the WWE.
